Amazingly unscarred by the D-Day invasion, there is much more to see in
Bayeux than just the famous tapestry, and where better to stay than in
this lovely, heavily beamed hotel at the top end of town. Dating back to
the 17thC it was once the British press headquarters after the invasion
although comfort today is much more luxurious. The Michelin rated
restaurant offers excellent quality cuisine in a lavish atmosphere and the
bedrooms, all decorated in an individual style, are comfortable and
spacious with en suite shower/wc. Hotel car park & garage parking approx.
Restaurant closed 24 Dec-31 Jan & Sun/Mon (15/11-15/4).
