Hotel Latitude Ouest, LocronanHotel Latitude Ouest, Locronan

With its impressive Renaissance houses and mainly traffic-free cobbled streets, it may come as no surprise that this beautifully preserved granite village is one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France. Featured in many films and visited by thousands of tourists throughout the year, its little streets are interspersed with cafes, restaurants and crêperies plus some pretty good leather and weaving workshops. There is even a musuem which charts the history of this medieval sail-making centre. The family-run Latitude Ouest is in lovely grounds surrounded by woods on the village outskirts and is just a short drive from the beach in Plonévez-Porzay. Bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and those on the ground floor have access to the garden where there is a children's play area. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi (charge payable) which can be booked for private use along with massages and facials. Bike garage also available.

Restaurant closed Sun.
