About Armorique

(COVID-19) To ensure the safety of both our passengers and crew, life on board has changed - new procedures are in place and facilities may be limited.

One of our ferries to France, our cruise ferry Armorique was specifically designed and built for Brittany Ferries, and will now run our Cork - Roscoff route. Armorique was introduced to the fleet in 2009.

Carrying up to 1,500 passengers and 470 cars, the ship follows a modern design with décor that beautifully captures the lights, colours and space of the Brittany region and its maritime heritage. Also featured are a number of artists and their work celebrating Breton culture, its traditions, spirit and innovation.

There's plenty of space to move around on board (both inside and on deck) with an open plan feel, and lots of areas to relax, including a quiet zone. Although there is not an a la carte restaurant, passengers can still enjoy a superb choice of menu options in our self-service restaurant, as well as hot and cold snacks from the café.

Armorique offers passengers a choice of 247 cabins - all of which are en-suite and air conditioned - plus a number of reserved lounge seats spread out through the ship. There are also a number of cabins adapted for disabled passengers.

Please note that on busier sailings a small number of vehicles may be parked in an open area on deck.

Designed to capture the light and colour of the Breton region, Armorique takes her name from an area of north west France meaning 'the country that faces the sea'

On board you'll enjoy award-winning service and top-class facilities, not to mention French chefs and friendly bi-lingual staff, all combining to create a truly French experience from the moment you drive aboard.
